Glenpark Celtic Double Header Cup Wins!

Glenpark Celtic have added another two trophies to their fine collection by winning the second cup night in The Lodge and winning the Fortwilliam Cup in St Malachy's the following week. On the Lodge cup night, they battled their way pass Lodge Celtic in the QF, L.W.M.C. in the SF & then beat The Lodge in a close fought final 3-2. The Glenpark Celtic found themselves 2-0 down in the final but with wins for Conor Hanna, Pearse Maguire and Dan Delaney, the Glenpark bravely fought back to take the win. The Bobby Lavery 701 Cup was won by Lodge Celtic who secured the cup win with wins against The Shamrock and The Warriors. As for the St Malachy's Cup Night, Glenpark Celtic won the Fortwilliam Cup with wins against The Lodge in the QF, L.W.M.C. in the SF & a 3-1 win over St Malachy's Old Boys in the final. Wins for Hugh McShane, Pearse Maguire & Conor Hanna secured the cup win. The Carlisle 701 cup was won by The Lodge who beat The Shamrock & Lodge Celtic to win. The next cup night is the Sara O'Reilly Pairs & Charlene Fryers 701 Shield in the Shamrock on 21st & 28th February.
