L.W.M.C. win the Margaret McKervey Memorial Cup!

L.W.M.C. have added their name to the list of winners of the Margaret McKervey Memorial Cup. Their quarter-final match could have went either way but Conor O'Neill won the deciding match 2-0 to send them through to the semi-finals. Glenpark Celtic was next in their way but L.W.M.C. had too much quality on show and beat the Glenpark 3-1 to advance into the final. Their opponents, Lodge Celtic, gained their way into the final with wins over St Malachy's Old Boys in the quarter-final and The Shamrock in the semi-finals. L.W.M.C. were in great form all night and continued that form in the final with a 3-0 win with Conor O'Neill, Conor Burns and Brian George securing the cup win! The James Dillon Memorial Cup was won by The Lodge who overcame a St Malachy's duo to claim the win! Well done to both teams on their cup wins. Next week we are in L.W.M.C. for another cup night. There will also be a delegates meeting this Tuesday before the cup night begins.
