St Malachy's Cup & Vicinage Cup Night

This Tuesday 6th September is our second cup night of this season! Seven teams will compete for the St Malachy's Cup in attempt to claim the second trophy of the season. The match format is five v five, first to 3 wins the match. Each individual match will be best of 3 legs 501. A random draw will take place on the night to decide what the quarter-final matches are. One team will receive a bye and advance into the semi-finals. The remaining three quarter-final matches will be played over two boards. The three teams that lose their quarter-final matches will compete in a round-robin competition for the Vicinage Cup. Format will be again 5v5, first to 3 wins the match. Individually, it will be 1 leg of 701. LWMC claimed the first trophy of the season winning the Charity Shield but can they make it two in a row. There are plenty of other teams ready to stand in their way and claim their first trophy of the season. Matches commence no later than 8.45pm SHARP! The draw for the quarter-finals will be at 8.30pm.
